Quill & Gear Racing was founded by a collective of seasoned engineers and former motorsports professionals who shared an unwavering passion for speed, precision, and peak performance. Frustrated by the limitations of off-the-shelf components, they envisioned a company that would not only meet but exceed the rigorous demands of racing.
The name 'Quill & Gear' embodies our philosophy: 'Quill' signifies the meticulous design, intellectual rigor, and unparalleled precision that goes into every blueprint and calculation, while 'Gear' represents the raw mechanical strength, engineering excellence, and the powerful components we forge. We started humble, focusing on custom solutions for a few discerning teams, and quickly grew through word-of-mouth thanks to our uncompromising quality.
Key milestones include the adoption of advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in component design in our first year, securing our first major racing series contract, and the recent expansion of our fabrication facility to incorporate state-of-the-art robotic forging presses.
